In the community
We are committed to contributing to the communities in which we live and work. Our efforts minimize our impact on the environment, improve the quality of lives here and abroad, and add value to our industry and those of our clients.
Our environment
We recognize that all human activity has an impact on our environment, but there is much we can do to limit the harmful effects on our planet.
Our efforts include:
- designing our work space to be as energy efficient as possible, including installing Energy-Star-compliant fixtures and equipment
- locating our work space in a building that participates in BOMA’s voluntary Go Green Plus Program, a national environmental recognition, assessment and certification program for existing commercial buildings
- sourcing green energy from Bullfrog Power
- monitoring and reducing paper usage
- increasing usage of public transportation to and from meetings
Results
Ariad has reduced its paper usage by 38% over last year.
Our neighbours
We strive to help our immediate and global neighbours thrive.
FoodShare is a Toronto organization promoting healthy eating and access to healthy food from “field to table”: growing, processing, distributing, purchasing, cooking, and eating.
Our support of FoodShare includes:
- providing strategic and executional support in shaping the FoodShare brand and their communications initiatives
- volunteer work, such as packing the Good Food Box
- financial assistance
Results
“Ariad has provided us with great insight, amazing results, and a wonderful supportive boost that will help us to learn and develop further.”
